Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Sudokune covering the Sudokune app and this website. By using Sudokune, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Using Sudokune

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Sudokune on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use.

You agree not to:

• Copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or redistribute the app.
• Use automated means — bots, scripts, solvers, or modified clients — to play puzzles or submit results.
• Interfere with the service, or attempt to access data that is not yours.
• Use Sudokune in any way that breaks the law.

Your account

You can play without an account. If you create one, you are responsible for keeping access to it secure, and for activity that happens under it.

You may delete your account at any time. What happens to your data when you do is described in the Privacy Policy.

Purchases

Sudokune is free to download and includes a limited number of free puzzles per difficulty. Unlimited play is available as a one-time purchase.

• Purchases are processed by Google Play, under Google's terms — not by us. We never receive your payment details.
• Refunds are handled by Google Play according to their refund policy. We cannot issue refunds directly.
• Your purchase is tied to the store account that made it, and can be restored on devices signed in to that account.
• The purchase unlocks features in Sudokune. It is not a subscription and does not renew.

Changes to the app

We may add, change, or remove features over time. We may also stop offering Sudokune. If we discontinue it, we will give reasonable notice where we can. We do not owe refunds for a one-time purchase already made, except where required by law or granted through Google Play.

Ending access

We may suspend or terminate access for a serious or repeated breach of these terms — in practice, cheating, abuse of other players, or attacking the service. You can stop using Sudokune at any time by deleting your account and uninstalling the app.

Ownership

Sudokune, its name, its design, and its content belong to Sudokune. These terms do not transfer any ownership to you.

No warranty

Sudokune is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that progress data will never be lost. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so parts of this may not apply to you.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sudokune is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Sudokune. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of law rules. This does not remove any protection you have under the mandatory law of the country you live in.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page, and signal significant changes in the app. Continuing to use Sudokune after a change means you accept the updated terms.
